Kermanshah Kalal stew
Ingredients
- Veal 300 grams
- 1 large onion
- Almond slice 150 g
- Tomato paste 1 tbsp
- Grated tomatoes 1 glass
- Limousine 2 pcs
- Black Barberry (Normal Barberry) 3 tbsp
- Saffron 3 tbsp
- Salt, pepper and turmeric to the required extent
How to Make Khalal Stew
- To prepare the almond stew, soak the almonds first, then chop a large onion and fry then chop the minced beef and fry it slightly and then add the turmeric and pepper. Let it cook.
- After the meat has softened, slightly saute the almonds and add the lemon juice and chopped saffron to the meat then fry the tomato paste and grated tomatoes in the oil and add to the stew. If you haven’t already, use regular barberry.
- Make sure to make almond stew once in a while and enjoy its unique taste. Especially if you use caramel oil, your stew will be original.
